About the client

Our client is one of the largest tire manufacturers in the World. Currently they have around 181 production facilities in 24 countries. The company has production, distribution, sales, and warehouse facilities worldwide, with headquarters in Chuo-Ku, Tokyo, Japan. The company has a vast network of partners who distribute its products to the market. These partners manage their inventory in diverse formats and provide client reports upon request. Additionally, data from various internal systems is consolidated into a centralized data repository.


Client challenges

The company is facing several challenges related to data management and analytics. Sales data is scattered across various internal systems in different formats, making it difficult to consolidate and analyze. A centralized data repository is necessary for effective decision-making and reporting. Additionally, the absence of advanced KPI dashboards for eClaim, Logistics and Supply Chain, and Partner management limits visibility into key performance indicators. To address these issues, real-time data synchronization with partner systems is crucial to ensure accurate product availability information and facilitate efficient operations.

Solution

Our expert team did a thorough assessment of the client’s technical environment and then implemented the following activities:

  • Streamlining E-Claims Data with Azure: E-Claims consolidation was achieved by creating a centralized integration hub using Azure to efficiently sync the data with consistency between E-Claims and Azure Blob storage.
  • SharePoint File Monitoring Setup: A SharePoint file monitoring system was configured to track specific files within designated folders, including Mix Master, Currency, Budget, and Customer Hierarchy. This setup enabled real-time monitoring of these critical documents.
  • Data Mapping and Translation: A data mapping framework was established to streamline the transfer of SharePoint data to Azure Blob Storage. This framework defined the rules and processes for converting data from SharePoint’s format into the appropriate Azure Blob Storage format, ensuring accurate and efficient data migration.
