Leading investment firm streamlined their Salesforce integration using our customized solutions

About the client

Our client is a leading global alternative investment firm with the mission to deliver high-quality returns for its investors. Established in 1989, its primary focus is on providing unique custody solutions. With a workforce of more than 5,000 employees globally and 140 branches, it has earned a reputation for crafting new solutions to solve the most complex custody requirements.

Client challenges

With a global presence in more than 140 locations, our client had to deal with massive databases. The client, tired of the complexities of managing integrations through Informatica, approached us to migrate their Salesforce and database integrations to a more streamlined platform.  Their primary concern was simplifying data transfer for their intricate data structures.  Looking beyond the immediate need, they also envisioned a future-proof foundation – a framework robust enough to support even more complex integrations and handle the scaling of their existing applications.  Essentially, they sought a solution that addressed present challenges while laying the groundwork for future growth.

Solution

Our expert team did a thorough assessment of the client’s technical environment and then implemented the following activities:

  • Platform Migration: We migrated the client’s integrations from Informatica to MuleSoft, a platform known for robust data-handling capabilities.
  • Salesforce Integration: We seamlessly integrated key Salesforce objects, like login and account data, with InnovestCloud, ensuring smooth data flow between the two systems.
  • Batch Processing Optimization: To handle the client’s high data volume, we implemented batch processing techniques within MuleSoft, maximizing efficiency.
  • API Expansion: We strategically added APIs to the integration architecture, enhancing flexibility and scalability. This positioned the client’s system for future expansion and integration of additional applications.
Benefits
  • Utilization of batch processing resulted in increased scalability.
  • Significantly reduced project implementation timelines.
  • Streamlined workflow since Salesforce and MuleSoft are a natural fit.
  • Adding APIs assisted in the integration and could be scheduled to run at a specific time.
